Laura Z Gras PT,
DSc, GCS
Laura received her doctor of science degree in
physical
therapy with a specialization in geriatrics from Rocky Mountain
University of Health Professions. Her dissertation was on
balance
training with older adults:"A Comparison of Hip and Ankle Exercises in
Elders and the Influence on Balance and Gait". PDF
She has her master's degree in health service
administration and a gerontology certificate through Sage Graduate
School. Laura is a board certified clinical specialist in geriatric
physical therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association and
has 18 years of experience as a physical therapist.
Laura is an Associate Professor
at The Sage Colleges. She
is trained in Neuro-Developmental
Treatment (NDT).
Laura has several published articles and extensive presentations on
balance issues with older adults and stroke rehabilitation.
